Partnering with local nonprofits.

Sellcurb works with vetted local nonprofits — Certified Advocates — who post Asks on behalf of the people they serve. When you fulfill an Ask, your item goes directly to a neighbor in need, coordinated by an org that knows them.

Where it goes

Your stuff doesn't just get sold — it gets a story.

“My neighbor's kid is still riding the bike I listed last spring.”

— North Park, San Diego

“A family just resettled in North Park is sleeping on the bed I listed last week. I heard from the org that they were so grateful.”

— representative story, name withheld

Questions you're probably asking.

How is this different from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist?

Sellcurb is a real marketplace with payment, in-app messaging, and ratings — not a free-for-all message board. You'll never get a "is this still available?" message at 2am, and you coordinate pickup entirely in-app, no phone numbers exchanged.

Why $4 per listing?

It covers the AI work (writing your listing, pricing it, screening neighbors ready to pick up) and keeps the platform spam-free. Most marketplaces are "free" but take 10–13% of your sale — on a $200 couch that's $20–26 they keep. We charge $4 flat and you keep everything.

What about Craigslist? Can you cross-post?

Yes. One click cross-posts your Sellcurb listing to Craigslist and routes the replies back through us, so you still get spam filtering even on traffic from there.

Is this only in the San Diego area?

At launch, yes — San Diego (downtown, North Park, La Jolla, and surrounding neighborhoods). We'll expand once we have density. Join the waitlist with your zip and we'll let you know when we're in your area.

What if I don't want to use the AI?

You don't have to. You can write your own listing manually. The AI is the default because it produces better-converting posts in 60 seconds, but it's never required.
